드롭을 하는 방법이 어디까지가 정확한것인지 알려주시기 바랍니다. 우선 기본 룰을 보면 '정해진 규정의 범위내에서 드롭을 한다' 라고 돼있고 그공이 2클럽이상이 굴러 갔다면 다시 재 드롭을 해야 한다고 돼있읍니다. 여기서 제가 잘 이해를 못하고 궁굼한것은 분명히 공 마크를 한 자리에서 2크럽이내에서 드롭을 한다는 것은 이해가 되는데 그공이 2크럽 이상 굴러갔을때엔 재드롭을 하여야 한다는 대목이 잘 이해가 안됩니다.여기서 2크럽이란 공이 드롭을 하여 떨어진 자리에서부터 2크럽이내인지 아니면 원래 2크럽안에 드롭을 한 그 2크럽 안에인지가 잘 이해가 안되며 알수가 없읍니다. 다시 말씀드리면 만약 2크럽이내 에서 드롭을 하여 그공이 굴러 다시 1크럽반 을 굴러 갔다면 원래 공을첫번마크한 자리에서는 3크럽 반이라는 거리가 생기게돼는데 이것이 정상 인지요? 아니면 허용이 되는지요 무척 궁금합니다.

Drop할 수 있는 경우는 여러가지 경우가 있지요. Water Hazard에 들어갔을 때, Unplayable일 때와 같이 벌타를 먹는 경우는 nearestpoint 에서 2 club 이내이고, 벌타가 없는 장애물에의한 구제나 수리지에서 구제와 같은 경우는 nearest지점에서 1 club이내이지요. 규칙에 의해 1 club길이, 혹은 2 club 이내에 drop한 공이 최초 지면에 맞은 자리에서 2 club을 벋어나면 Redrop을 합니다. 그러니까 최대한의 경우 nearest point 로 부터 3 club, 혹은 4 club까지 허용이 됩니다. 아래 20조2항 c의 vi를 참조하시기 바랍니다. Re-drop은 1회에 한하며 다시 2 Club을 벋어나면 두번째 drop했을 때 지면에 닿은 자리에 place하고 경기하면 되겠습니다.

Rule 20-2

c. When to Re-Drop

A dropped ball shall be re-dropped without penalty if it:

i. rolls into and comes to rest in a hazard;

ii. rolls out of and comes to rest outside a hazard;

iii. rolls onto and comes to rest on a putting green;

iv. rolls and comes to rest out of bounds;

v. rolls to and comes to rest in a position where there is interference by the condition from which relief was taken under Rule 24-2 (immovable obstruction), Rule 25-1 (abnormal ground conditions), Rule 25-3 (wrong putting green) or a Local Rule (Rule 33-8a), or rolls back into the pitch-mark from which it was lifted under Rule 25-2 (embedded ball);

vi. rolls and comes to rest more than two club-lengths from where it first struck a part of the course;

vii rolls and comes to rest nearer the hole than:

a. its original position or estimated position (see Rule 20-2b) unless otherwise permitted by the Rules;

b. the nearest point of relief or maximum available relief (Rule 24-2, 25-1 or 25-3); or

c. the point where the original ball last crossed the margin of the water hazard or lateral water hazard (Rule 26-1c).

If the ball when re-dropped rolls into any position listed above, it shall be placed as near as possible to the spot where it first struck a part of the course when re-dropped.

If a ball to be re-dropped or placed under this Rule is not immediately recoverable, another ball may be substituted.
