“There Might be a certain amount of political consideration”

President Roh Moo-hyun (left) held a press conference at Chunchugwan, Cheong Wa Dae on January 23. At the conference, he explained his appointment of Rep. Kim Hyo-seok of the Millennium Democratic Party (MDP) to the position of deputy prime minister and minister of Education and Human Resources Development, saying that it was not related to merger issues between the Uri party and the Millennium Democratic Party. President Roh added, “There might be the possibility of political consideration.”
