The Constitutional Court will make a final verdict on the presidential impeachment after holding the last hearing of the case on April 27. After the last hearing, we will retire to chambers and have a justices discussion on the next day, April 28, and review the case, said Chief Judge Joo Sun-hoi.
Joo added that the date of verdict will be decided during the justices discussion after the last hearing and predicted that it might be sometime in mid-May.
Taking the importance of this case into account, the Constitutional Court will reach a final ruling by combining each judges opinion together over each point of issue, which is different from the usual way of writing out a decision based on each judges vote for or against a particular verdict.
Meanwhile, attorneys for the Assembly and Mr. Rohs attorneys held a plenary meeting on that day and discussed strategy for the final hearing.
