Tiger drops out of top 10 rankings but remains sports king

Tiger Woods has likely fallen out of the world`s top 10 for the first time in 14 years but remains the top celebrity in the sports world.

Ranked eighth in the world as his last win came 18 months ago at the Australian Masters, Woods will likely drop to at least No. 11 in next week`s rankings, the Associated Press reported Wednesday.

He is still the No. 1 celebrity in the sports world as he ranks sixth on Forbes` annual "Celebrity 100" list of the most powerful people or groups in entertainment. He was the highest ranking athlete among 19 sports stars on the list.

Forbes said Woods earned an estimated 75 million U.S. dollars last year, the most by any sports figure in the world.
