iPad Debut

Apple Thursday unveils the iPad, a tablet PC, at the Yerba Buena Center in San Francisco. The new device will allow users to read electronic books and newspapers. Apple CEO Steve Jobs introduces an iBooks Store, an online e-book store available on the iPad.
