President Lee Myung-bak (center) is briefed Saturday by Korea Air Force Command chief Oh Chang-hwan (left) on guided precision missiles mounted on F-15K fighter jets at the Korea-U.S. Combined Air Force Operations Command base in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi Province. On the occasion of Memorial day, senior military officials accompanied President Lee, who became the first Korean head of state to visit the joint command. On President Lee’s right is the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Kim Tae-young and behind him is Air Force Chief of General Staff Kim Kye-hoon.
