Ah, Shucks!

Lee Bae-young yesterday appears frustrated after failing to lift 140 kilograms in the men’s snatch at the Asian Inter-Club Weightlifting Championships in the northern Seoul suburb of Goyang. He had been disqualified from the 69-kilogram class at the Beijing Olympics, but persevered until the end despite injury. Yesterday, he competed in the 77-kilogram class and finished sixth by lifting a combined 295 kilograms.
