Gov`t Holds New Year`s Opening Ceremony

The government held its opening ceremony for 2008 Wednesday morning at the annex to the Central Government Complex in downtown Seoul. Prime Minister Han Duck-soo and other Cabinet members exchanged New Year’s greetings. Han said, “Officials in every area must endeavor to make sure a smooth transition for the next government.”
