How Makeup Was Applied in 1945.

Amore Pacific, a cosmetic firm, held an event at “the Amore Star” store in Myeong-dong, Jung-gu, Seoul, on September 4 that reproduced the cosmetic techniques and hairstyles of 1945, when the company was founded, to celebrate the 60th anniversary (September 5) of its foundation. Store staffs were displaying the old styles, braiding customers’ hair in two plaits and painting customers’ faces thick. The event will continue until September 11.
