The game schedule for the “Asian Series” where the professional baseball champions of four Asian countries, Korea, Japan, Taiwan and China, face off at Japan’s Tokyo Dome in November, to find out who is the best, has been set.

KBO (Korean Baseball Organization) Secretary General Lee Sang-gook met with NPB (Nippon Professional Baseball) Secretary General Hasegawa, CPBL (Chinese Professional Baseball League) International Director Richard Wang, and CBA (Chinese Baseball Association) President Hu Jianguo on August 7, in Tokyo, and decided to hold the Konami Cup Asian Series 2005 for four days starting November 10.

The professional league champions of Korea, Japan and Taiwan, and China’s national baseball team preparing for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, will play. Korea will face off against Japan on November 10 in a road game, play against China at home on November 12, and play Taiwan at home on November 12. After playing in a four team league, the top two teams will play in the finals on November 13, and decide the winner.
