The largest natural lava cave in Korea was found in Woljeong-ri, Gujwa-eup, in Jeju Island’s Bukjeju County. The cave, which was revealed by Bukjeju County on May 16, extends for 2500m and is dubbed “Yongcheon Cave” because it is in the shape of a dragon climbing toward the heavens. Access to the general public is prohibited to prevent damage to the cave.
