Daytime As Dark As Night

This is the scene on Sejong-no, Jongro-gu around 3:00 p.m. yesterday. The middle part of Korea, including Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Gangwon, had a dark sky for four to five hours that turned daylight to evening. The Korea Meteorological Administration explained, “That was because over the sky, 500-3,000 mm above the ground, a broad layer of rain and clouds as thick as 2,500m was formed.”
