First Court Appearance of Taiwan President Charged with Election Injustice

Taiwan president Chen Shui-bian (middle) made an appearance in court yesterday. This is the first time for any of Taiwan’s presidents. President Chen, in court, testified about the wrongdoings of the member of Min Jing Party (where Chen is posted) during the local election. Chen has his eyes set on a reelection on March 20.
