‘Sindoricoh will be developed as a global IT enterprise leading an advanced future office automation’

Sales people of Sindoricoh call themselves ‘IT Consultant’. They have pride that they can offer the consulting service for a connection and utilization of a computer & digital combo and a space line arrangement, as well as sell duplicators.

One of strategies of next year is that the company will be developed to the digital network-focused global enterprise with the smart office equipment. The digital combo with all functions of the duplicators, printer, fax machine, scanner and editing function will be a core product which will capture the market.

After completing a corporate identity program with a subject of ‘a change and growth’ last year, Sindoricoh has concentrated on a research & development of the next generation digital combo by 180 researchers.

Founded by the deceased Woo Sang-gi in 1960, Sindoricoh is a representative medium-sized enterprise which has produced the duplicators for 42 years.

A stable profit structure and transparent management is a model case in the industry. It hasn’t done the borrowings management even once for 42 years since its foundation. Its cash assets will reach 300 billion won.

Among net profits, 30% has been lent to employees and shareholders and 30% has been accommodated for facilities investment and R&D respectively each year in principle. The remaining 10% has been resolved to a society.

Employee-oriented management is another advantage of Sindoricoh. To remove a distance of the production and office work, office employees wear in a working uniform as a good example. Even president and executives wear a white jacket and trousers with a name and department of blue color.

The company building has an exhibition gallery, a lounge, indoor basketball court and a bamboo garden like a culture space. Asan factory of Chungnam made 70% of the building with a welfare space such as a theater and Karaoke.

Estimated net profits of above 60 billion won last year, Sindoricoh has started the new year of 2003 with enthusiasm of employees.
