Nuclear Facility in Yongbyon

Satellite image of the Yongbyon nuclear facility was captured by American satellite Quick Bird in March this year. A 5-megawatt nuclear reactor built by Russia is in Yongbyon. Tensions are rising between the U.S. and North Korea in the wake of the North removing seals from its frozen nuclear facilities, including one in Yongbyon, on Dec. 24.
