North Korea – We Will Show You with Outcomes

At dawn on 25th, At114 unit of Asian Game Village of Banyeo1–dong, Haeundae-gu, Pusan, North Korean players came out one by one. Some of them yawned out in sleepy and some of them stretched themselves. As it was still dark and access was prohibited, it was not easy to identify their faces. As more than twenty players gathered, they began free gymnastics lightly.

One day of North Korean players began like this. After finishing gymnastics, they went back accommodation and came to canteen about 07:20 am. The judo, gymnastic and rowing players having training in the morning began breakfast first. They had breakfast with themselves. As meeting Korean players they know, they said “hello”.

North Korean players were busy foe all day, as if to show something in the game.

After finishing breakfast, they went to training center straight. At 8:00 am, North Korean judo team including superstar Gye Soon-hee departed to Citizen Sports Promotion Center in Sedaeshin-dong, and arrived there at 9:30. They had training time until 10:50 and came back to Asian Game Village. In the afternoon, Gye Soon-hee has training time at weight training center.

Rowing team including Cho Wan-kun departed to Haeundae Rowing Trackand began hard training. They had lunch at a restaurant near the track. After light training they came to the village in the afternoon.

Basketball team which is drawing much attention due to ‘Human Pole’ Lee Myung-hun had training twice I the morning and in the afternoon at Student Educational & Cultural Center. They had planed to train until 1:00 pm to 3:00pm. However, as the center were not reserved by other teams, they has training twice from 10:30am to 11:40am and from 4:30pm to 7:00pm.

North Korean soccer team plans to gain championship after defeating Korean Team had been in semi-quarter in the World Cup. They took relax in the morning and went to a ground in Hwamyung-dong and had strategic training.

After finishing afternoon training game respectively, they came back to the village and had dinner at 8:00pm. The lights of 114 unit of the village they went in began to off one by one from 9:30pm.

North Korean team was only dedicated in training. As reporters appeared in the training center, they had secret training and not replied for reporters’ questions. A person of the team commented, “We will have a talking time after completing all the game”

For the attitude, WangSang-eun, the General manager of the village commented, “ we talked openly when we meet authorized persons including Bang Mun-il the leader of North Korean team, but they control themselves to talk. It impresses us as if they show us by results”
