Every passenger pays attention. It is neither a temple nor an ordinary house. From its external appearance, it seems to be an annex to Daeheung Temple. People just think to themselves, "I want to stay here even for one night!"
The beautiful traditional house is named Yuseongwan. Yes, it is an inn. This is the first traditional inn in Korea nestled under a temple in the mountainous area.
At 3 am, you can hear the bell ringing from Daeheung Temple. You might feel as if you were inside a silent temple, but this traditional inn is equipped with modern facilities. There is a flower garden in front of the inn. A number of soy sauce crocks are lined up in the backyard.
When you look at the scenic view from the opened room door, you might feel as if you were watching a piece of a watercolor painting. Yuseongwan provides guests with traditional cuisine that people cannot easily find in the ordinary world. Maybe that made the inn a tourist attraction in the region.
