Korea’s youngest crew chief

Korea`s largest airline recently appointed 35-year-old Hyun Sang-Hoon as captain, making him the youngest person to reach the position in domestic aviation history.

Hyun joined Korean Air Lines (KAL) in November 1992 and served as assistant captain on F100, B747, and B400 flights. Born in 1966, Hyun graduated from the Aviation Machinery Department of Hankook Aviation University and entered the KAL flight-training institute on Cheju Island in September 1990.
