“I`m not a pirate”

Kim Hyuk-soo, a retired naval commodore who served in Korea’s first submarine fleet, holds a protest Friday in front of the minor United Progressive Party’s main building in southern Seoul. His anger was vented toward Kim Ji-yoon, a proportional representative candidate of the party, over her referral to a controversial naval base to be built on Jeju Island as a “pirate base.”
