Kim Jong Il`s body unveiled

The body of the late Kim Jong Il, who ruled North Korea with an iron fist for 37 years, is made public Tuesday, three days after his sudden death. Clad in the North Korean people’s uniform, Kim is seen lying in a transparent glass coffin inside Kumsusan Memorial Palace in Pyongyang, with a red cloth covering up to his chest. A large age spot on his right cheek looks conspicuous. The body will likely be preserved after being treated with preservatives like that of his father Kim Il Sung.
