Obama Makes History

Sen. Barack Obama and his wife Michelle respond to the cheering crowd after his victory in the Democratic presidential nomination race in St. Paul, Minnesota on Tuesday evening local time. By winning the Montana and South Dakota primaries, which rounded out the grueling democratic nomination races, and eliciting enough support from super delegates, Obama garnered the 2,118 delegates needed to win his party`s nomination for president.
