August 29 marks the second anniversary of Hurricane Katrina’s arrival in New Orleans, Louisiana. Hurricane Katrina – the worst natural disaster in U.S. history – killed 1,800 people and left 800,000 homeless. Wreaths honoring the victims of the disaster are lying around the crosses set up in “Shell beach” in St. Bernard Parish, Louisiana.
