On May 18, a little girl was crying because she did not want to give flowers to Queen Elizabeth, who was visiting the provincial legislature in Regina, Saskatchewan in southern Canada.(left). When the queen arrived and received the flowers, the girl stopped crying and looked at the queen (right). Queen Elizabeth, the symbolic head of state of Canada, was visiting the legislature as part of her nine-day visit to Canada to commemorate the centennial anniversary of Saskatchewan and Albertas incorporation into the Canadian Federation.
