On May 3, Sohn Bong-suk, a lawmaker from the New Millennium Democratic Party (NMDP) is protesting with a sheet of paper saying “time punctuality” at a plenary session room of the National Assembly. Lawmakers didn’t attend the session, resulting in a delay in the meeting. The Special Committee on Ethics on April 26 adopted a declaration on ethics, including the stipulation that “lawmakers should attend meetings and be punctual for them.”
