President Roh Returns to Korea

President Roh Moo-hyun returned to Korea via Seoul Airport in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province, through a special flight in the morning of April 18 after completing his 8-night and 9-day state visit to Germany and Turkey. By paying this state visit to Germany, President Roh completed his visit to major countries of the European Union (EU), following the United Kingdom, France, and Poland in December 2004.

President Roh Moo-hyun is scheduled to start visiting foreign countries on May 8, the second time of this year, to participate in celebrations to mark the 60th anniversary of the World War II victory that will be held in Moscow, Russia on May 9, given by Russian President Vladimir Putin’s invitation. Following his visit to Russia, President Roh will pay a state visit to Uzbekistan from May 10 to May 12.
