“The South and North to Cooperate in Correcting Korean History”

The South’s Koguryo Research Foundation (president, Kim Jeong-bae) and the North’s Academy of Social Science agreed to conduct a joint investigation of an old tomb in the Pyongyang area.

The two Koreas also decided to cooperate actively in correcting Korean history.

President Kim of the Koguryo Research Foundation held a news conference on March 7 and said that the South and the North have agreed to the above mentioned matters this January and that the two Koreas held an international academic meeting on the Gojoseon, Goguryeo, and Balhae with scholars from the two Koreas and Russia in Vladivostok, Russia on February 24 and 25.
