“We Will Accommodate South-North Korea Summit Talks No Matter the Time or Place”

President Roh Moo-hyun stated on Monday that “If South-North Korea summit talks are possible, we will accommodate them no matter the time or place.”

Concerning the statement, “During the six-way talks, South-North Korea summit talks are impossible” that President Roh made during his interview with Kyunghyang Shinmun (newspaper company) which was reported on this day, he said, “It does not mean I am reluctant about it, but I presumed that it will be hard to have the talks since the North Korea will evade it while the six-way party talks are taking place.”

Also, President Roh said, “I will make sure that credit defaulters return to a normal way of life in the new year. So far, I wasn’t able to do it because of moral hazard, but we can’t let a normal person be tied up because of lack of few millions of won, restricting them to be a day laborer.”
