Stir in Cheongwadae Aiming 386 Staffs

While ‘386 conspiracy argument’ is brought up within the ruling camps on prosecution’s investigation toward suspicions of Good Morning City sales, Democratic Party representative Mr. Jeong Dae-cheol requested for censuring on the 24th aiming at 386 staffs of Chongwadae.

Representative Jeong called for a meeting for high rank party executives on the 24th and said, “There is no discussing and cooperation among parties in the early stage.” He also emphasized, “There should be personnel reorganization correspondingly, but the activities against agreement should be controlled, and censuring is needed as well in Chongwadae.

Representative Jeong was asked the true meaning of what he said after the meeting, and he responded, “It means that measures will be taken if needed. It is not dealing with any specific matter, but is only a theoretical speech. I cannot reveal everything now, but they will become known later on, one by one.”

According to a source close to the representative, Mr. Jeong is seeing that 386 staffs are involved in the reorganization of major prominent figures in the Good Morning City prosecution investigation. “The censuring personnel said by the representative means to clear 386 staffs who are suspected to be the wire-puller of the conspiracy argument”, he explained.

The source also added, “We have already secured much evidence about the condition that Chongwadae 386 staffs are using faction within the prosecution to influence the investigation.”

While representative Jeong’s side regarded ‘386 conspiracy argument’ as an established fact and made offensive movement, the major prominent persons of the Democratic Party including advisor Kim Won-ki did not show instant reaction. However, they are sympathizing with the possibility of the ‘conspiracy’. This may proliferate Representative Jeong’s problem raising to a division within the ruling party, beyond the confrontation between party and Cheongwadae.

One core member of the Democratic Party main streams said the series of events including Mr. Ahn Hee-jeong’s ‘shift in generation’ proposal, the press report problem on Good Morning City investigation procedure, etc. can be integrated to bring about the doubt that 386, the actual influence power, may have the intention to eliminate the authorities within the party in order to acquire leadership. He also said, “Correspondence is inevitable for the authorities, as well.”

Spokesman Mr. Mun Seok-ho said right after Representative Jeong’s speech, “It is the indication pointing to insufficient measures and discussion on the problems involving opening the fund used for presidential election and decision to stop Saemangeum business, etc.” However, Representative Secretariat Mr. Lee Nak-yeon said, “Interpret without limitation.”

In the meantime, chief political secretary Yu In-tae met the representative at a place downtown for about 1 hour. After that, he held a press session and said, “The representative couldn’t understand the prosecution’s attitude, and was also feeling unsatisfied with Chongwadae since it might have been able to brake the prosecution’s actions.”He also said,“The censuring personnel didn’t mean to aim at any certain person, but to give a warning since there will be a personnel movement in Chongwadae next month”
