Disbanding of Women’s Army Corps School

The Women’s Army Corps School, which has fostered the nation’s female military personnel for the last 52 years, held a disbanding ceremony at the main hall of the school located in the Ministry of Defense in Youngsan, Seoul, on Oct. 31. The school has so far produced some 1,500 female officers and some 6.300 assistant officers. Lieutenant Chu Sun-sam, Head of the Women’s Army Corps, is returning the corps’ flag at the ceremony on Oct. 31.
