25,000 Muslim Warriors Will Move to Aid Afghan

While Anti-American demonstrations of the Muslim circle in Pakistan protesting against the U.S. plan to attack Afghanistan continue, the warriors of Pakistan Muslims (Mujaheddin) are moving toward the Afghanistan border area to support the Taliban government.

Jamati Ulema Islami, the hard line leader of Sunni, declared yesterday that ``he will mobilize the Mujaheddin, who had been trained in Afghanistan, to the Pakistan border to block the air force bases in order to intercept the U.S. military attacks.``

A Muslim leader asserted at an anti-American meeting for collecting the participants of the Jihad that ``25,000 Mujaheddin have already departed for Afghanistan and 25,000 more is at a standby.``

Pakistan sources reported yesterday that, when the U.S. begins its military operation, the physical clashes are anticipated between the runaway Taliban soldiers and the Pakistan National Guard.

Meanwhile, the Spiegel reported, quoting a news report of a Pakistan newspaper, that an Islam extremist group is planning to assassinate Pakistan President who expressed his position to support the U.S. According to the report, the western intelligence agencies advised President to reduce the participations in the public events.
