U.S. veterans who fought in the Korean War and their families pay tributes at the U.N. Memorial Park, the burial site of fallen U.N. soldiers, in Busan for the first time in 61 years on Monday, ahead of Memorial Day on Thursday. The visiting war veterans, aged older than 80, are fellow soldiers who fought together as members of the 15th Infantry Regimen of the 3rd U.S. Infantry Division in 1951. Joined by 45 Reserve Officers’ Training Corps of Dongmyung University in Korea, the veterans offered flowers to the war dead at the cemetery. Pictured is James Campbell (front right), 79, who retired as colonel, offer a flower at the tombstone of his comrade.
