Remembering the Battle of Gapyeong

An event to commemorate the 61st anniversary of the Korean War`s Battle of

Gapyeong is held Tuesday morning at the Commonwealth Monument in Gapyeong County, Gyeonggi Province. Soldiers from four Commonwealth nations -- the U.K., Canada, Australia and New Zealand -- fought for South Korea in the battle. Surviving war veterans and their families honor the fallen soldiers.
