Legendary hero`s pencraft

A letter written in the same pencraft of legendary admiral Yi Sun-shin was released Tuesday. The letter begins in the seventh line from left, goes around, and ends in the sixth line from left. In addition, the name Yi Sun-shin is in the last line. Dr. Sohn Hwan-il of the Institute for Painting and Calligraphy Culture, who compared the letter and a war diary written by Yi, said, “The letter and the war diary were in the same pencraft.” The photo on the right is an enlargement of letters in the letter and next to it is the war diary handwritten by Yi.
