Chuseok Exodus Begins

A family gets on board a KTX bullet train heading for Busan Monday, the day before the Chuseok (Full Moon Harvest) holidays begin. The father holds his baby in arms and the mother wears a big smile on her face, apparently excited to meet their family. The Land, Transportation and Maritime Affairs Ministry said an estimated 49.5 million people will be on the move nationwide, a daily average of 5.5 million, through the end of the holidays.
