The U.S.-based Radio Free Asia yesterday released photos of North Korean women in Pyongyang taken by foreigners in front of the Kumsusan Memorial Palace. Quoting American economist Curtis Melvin, the report said stockings that make women’s ankles look as if they had tattoos are popular in the communist country.
