Bamboo Spears vs. Truncheons

Ruling Grand National Party lawmaker Lee In-ki yesterday explains the danger of violent demonstrations, showing a bamboo spear similar to the ones used in sit-in protests at parliament as part of the National Assembly Committee on Public Administration and Security’s audit of the National Police Agency. He urged a new model of helmets and improved truncheons to raise effectiveness against bamboo spears.
