Japan’s New Start

New Japanese Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama is greeted by lawmakers at a session of the Lower House of Japan’s Diet. Lawmakers of the Lower House formally elected Hatoyama as the country’s new leader. Shortly after taking office, he announced a new Cabinet line-up of 17 ministers including National Strategy Minister Naoto Kan.
