No Parliamentary Speech for UN Chief

On the second day of his visit to Korea, United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon gives a speech yesterday under the subject of “Climate Change and Development Goal for the New Millennium” at the grand conference room in the lawmakers’ hall of the National Assembly in Yeouido, Seoul. However, Ban was not able to deliver a speech at the main chamber since the 18th National Assembly has not opened even a month after the start of its term due to the conflict between the ruling and opposition parties.
