Gay Rush in California

A gay couple yesterday walks with a plaque hanging on the back reading “Just Married” after getting a marriage certificate from the San Francisco City Hall. The California Supreme Court has struck down a state law banning same-sex marriage, allowing the state government to issue marriage certificates to gay couples.
