July 2 is Day for Cherries

Marking a day for cherries, Shinsegae Department Store in Chungmuro displayed cherries imported from the northwest region of the U.S. on July 2. The department store began marketing activities by creating “Day Marketing” programs a couple of years ago. July 2 was designated as “cherries’ day” as they thought July 2 and cherries sounded similar. Cherries are summer fruits and good for people’s skin.
