French Patriots

Pictures of the “Righteous of France” were exhibited at the Pantheon in Paris on January 18. The French government honored about 3,000 French people who rescued Jews from the Nazis in WWII by officially naming them as the “Righteous of France.” Participating in the ceremony are President Jacques Chirac and Simone Veil, survivor of the Holocaust and former President of the European Parliament.
