Ecosystem

NASA released images of the ecosystem in the sea in November 1997 (left) and 1998, on December 6. In 1997, a warm current flowed near Peru in the East Pacific due to El Niño weather conditions, while the La Niña condition caused the waters to be cold in 1998, leading a big change in the ocean ecosystem. The NASA said that the warmer weather has been threatening the ecosystem in the Pacific since 1999.
