Mexican Standoff

The Mexican presidential election held on July 2 was too close to call, so the official election outcome will be announced later than July 5. The foreign press said the ruling National Action Party’s Felipe Calderón and the leftist opposition Democratic Revolutionary Party’s López Obrador are competing neck-and-neck within the margin of error. A son who came with his mother from Oaxaca, Southern Mexico, is putting a ballot into the box.
