Lottemart Guarantees Sweetness of Its Watermelons

Lottemart announced it would sell “sweetness guaranteed watermelons”--watermelons that score over 11 degrees on the sweetness scale-–until June 30 in all of its outlets, and to refund the purchase price of or exchange watermelons that do meet this standard. Lottermart explained that watermelons taste best when their sweetness is over 11 degrees. They have prepared approximately 200,000 watermelons for the sale, and prices are 6,900 won for 4.5kg and 8,700won for 5.5 kg melons.
