Vietnam’s 30th War Anniversary

This coming April 30 will commemorate the 30th anniversary of the overtaking of South Vietnam’s capital Saigon (currently Ho Chi Minh) in 1975, ending the Vietnam War and reuniting North and South Vietnam. Vietnam is busily preparing to commemorate this. The billboard in Ho Chi Minh, where a Vietnamese model is advertising for Pepsi-Cola, symbolically shows present-day Vietnam.
