In commemoration of the 60th anniversary of Independence, the National Assembly Library is opening an exhibition titled, The Silent War: Speaking Out On Japans Distortion of History, from March 11 to March 27 on the second floor of the Yeouidodong main building, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul. The exhibition will focus on distortions in Japanese textbooks, Japanese soldiers comfort women, the territorial problems concerning the Dokdo islets, Japans forced draft victimization pictures, models, and video footage. A petition encouraging 10,000,000 people to turn out for Dokdo Day will be ongoing.
