"A TV in My Hand"

Satellite digital multimedia broadcasting (DMB) sent its first domestic transmission at midnight on January 10. The satellite DMB provider TU Media stated that it launched the world’s second test broadcast. Satellite DMB is a cell phone that allows users to watch high-definition digital TV. The first channels to be launched were three video channels including music (CJ Media m-net) and drama, and six audio channels with the latest pop and jazz music. The employees at TU Media are checking on the broadcast receiving conditions through a cell phone tester at the satellite DMB broadcast center located at Seongsoo-dong, Seongdong-gu, Seoul.
