Korean president Roh Moon-hyun and his American counterpart, George W. Bush will discuss overall pending issues between the two nations at a summit meeting to be held during the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit period in Chile this November.

Kim Suk, the Foreign Ministry’s Director of North American Affairs, released that South Korean Foreign Minister Ban Ki-moon met with U.S. Secretary of State Colin Powell at a Korea-U.S. ministerial-level meeting at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in Manhattan, New York City on Thursday on the sidelines of the U.N.
