Prime Minister Tony Blair has considered quitting this year because “considerations regarding his family have become very pressing.”

This information was disclosed by his friend Melvyn Bragg on September 14 when he appeared before an I TV interview, saying, “Prime Minster Blair has been going through a lot of stress lately, particularly from the press.”

He also said, “But in my view, the real stress he is experiencing is personal and family stress, which matters most to him.”

Bragg is a well-known friend of Prime Minister Blair, and his wife, Cate, has co-authored a book with Blair’s wife, Cherie, to produce a book about the spouses of prime ministers.
