Shooting for Gold

Jin Jong-oh (KT) has started aiming at the gold medal. He entered the final after taking the number one spot in the men’s 50 meter pistol semifinal by scoring 567 points and defeating Russia’s Mikhail Nestruev, who scored 565 points, by two points. North Korea’s Kim Jung-soo ranked third, scoring 564 points at the Marco Polo Shooting Range in Athens, Greece on August 17.

The Korean team won its first ever medal in trap shooting by Lee Bo-na (Army Sports Unit).

Jin Jong-oh was aiming at the target in the men’s 10 meter air pistol on August 14.
